Our instrutors are fully trained , insured and have DBS certification.
We request that you complete a pre training questionaire so that we can ensure our training meets and considers any health requirements. The forms can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.
Once the trial training period is over and if you decide to join us, we will require that you obtain a NAKMAS martial arts licence. Your instructor will advise when this needs to be completed. It will be your responsibility to ensure that your licence is always up to date.
A free club uniform is provided after you join us (White Gi). Part of your future gradings will involve some sparring and in order to do that you will be required at some point to buy protective sparring gear. Your instructor will give you details nearer the time and you can buy it from us or source your own as long as it meets competition and safety standards.
The best form of advertising and driving new members is through word of mouth, reccomendations from students and parents and the use of our social media platforms.
We keep our facebook pages and website updated with all that is going on. We go to competitions and tournaments and take photos and videos whilst we are there. We also have presentation and graduation parts of the classes to celebrate success.
In order to help promote the site and grow our karate family we ask that you be good enough to let us put any pictures and videos of our students on our social media platforms. It's perfectly OK if you don't want to do that. We have a form we would ask you to complete so we can keep a record of who has been good enough to give us permission. We will never share your details with anybody else and we won't use your photos and images if you don't want us too. The form we would ask you to complete can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.
Gradings will be carried out throughout the year and the applicable grading fees will be due on the day of grading. A valid (in date) martials arts licence for annotation of grading will need to be shown on the day also to your instructor.
You can download this form and bring it along, or we can complete one with you when you come and see us. We just want to be sure that we take into account any conditions or ailments when setting your training targets with you.

This document should be printed off and completed by the student with their details and health questions. Your Instructor will complete the rest. Please remember to bring two recent passport size photos if you want a martial arts licence.

We would love to be able to share your photos, videos and achievements with others via our social media platforms. If you don't want to that's OK. If you agree that we can then we will complete one of these just so we have a record. You can always change your mind whatever you decide.
